Flashcards

WARWIKI publishes four free Anki decks on AnkiWeb. Three cover reconstructive, functional and female pelvic urology: one full deck and two fellowship tracks (GURS and URPS) drawn from it. The fourth is an oral-boards deck covering all of urology. Every reconstructive card links back to the WARWIKI section it came from, usually the exact heading.

Reconstructive and Functional Urology

Each card falls into one of five lanes: landmark trials, treatments, conditions, anatomy and pharmacology. Core cards hold the must-know material and appear first in every subdeck; Extension cards add trial detail and nuance. Guidelines are condensed to about ten cards each, and each landmark trial to at most five (design, main finding, harms, conclusion, and a limitation or follow-up).

The track decks are subsets of the full deck with their own note identities, so a track and the full deck can be installed side by side. Pick one to start; studying both duplicates the shared cards.

Urology Oral Boards

The board deck spans oncology, stones and endourology, pediatrics, infertility and transplant in addition to reconstruction, so it reaches beyond WARWIKI's own scope. It uses two note types. Cloze cards test one fact, number or nuance. Case cards give an oral-board stem; answer aloud with workup, management, complications and pearls, then flip. Tags mark priority: yield::high for facts tested repeatedly on past self-assessment examinations, yield::med for guideline content tested less often, oral-classic for the case cards, and verify where guidelines disagree (the card follows the AUA or current guideline and the alternative view is in the Extra field).

Getting Started

  1. Install Anki (free on desktop, Android and the web; AnkiMobile is paid on iOS).
  2. Open a deck link above and choose Download, then open the file in Anki.
  3. Click a topic subdeck to study one area, or the parent deck to study everything. About 20 new cards a day is a sustainable pace.
  4. Tap the WARWIKI link on an answer to read the full page.

Later versions update cards in place when imported over an earlier one; review history is kept. Errors and suggestions go to warwikihq@gmail.com.
