Biography​

John B. Gebhart is a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and works in its Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Surgery.12 He earned his medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine.3 He completed obstetrics and gynecology residency and a urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery fellowship at Mayo Clinic.3 He previously served as president of the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons and as director of Mayo Clinic's urogynecology fellowship program.3

Contributions​

His cited work covers reconstruction for vaginal agenesis and constricted or obliterated vagina, including skin-graft neovagina creation, vaginal advancement, and Z-plasty.456
