Biography​

Edward J. McGuire (1940–2021) was professor emeritus of urology at the University of Michigan, where he had headed the Section of Urology.1 McGuire graduated from Wayne State University Medical School in 1965, completed urologic training at Yale under Bernard Lytton, and was a fellow at the Royal London Hospital under Sir John Blandy.1 McGuire was a founding member and former president of the Urodynamics Society.1
