Contributions​

Erick Alejandro Ramírez Pérez's published work comes from international multicenter series on dorsal buccal mucosal graft repair of post-radiation urethral stenosis and buccal graft resurfacing of the penis.256

  • Dorsal onlay buccal graft urethroplasty after prostatectomy and radiation (2024). Coauthored an eight-institution series of 45 men with vesicourethral anastomotic or bulbomembranous stenosis after both treatments: 7 recurred, none developed de novo incontinence and 4 of 6 men with a preoperative suprapubic catheter were continent after repair.5 Cited on WARWIKI: Vesicourethral Anastomotic Stenosis, Dorsal Onlay Oral Mucosal Graft Urethroplasty.
  • The buccal belt (2022). Coauthored a six-institution series of 31 men treated with subcoronal circumferential buccal mucosal graft resurfacing for recurrent penile adhesions; none had recurrence at a mean follow-up of 27 months.6 Cited on WARWIKI: Glans Resurfacing.
