H. Henry Lai

Biography​

H. Henry Lai is a professor, department executive officer, and Rubin H. Flocks Chair of Urology at the University of Iowa.1 Lai earned his MD at Cornell University Medical College and completed a urology residency at Baylor College of Medicine.1 Lai completed fellowship training in neurourology, urodynamics, and female urology at Baylor College of Medicine.2 The American Urological Association named Lai its research chair.2

Contributions​

Lai's cited work covers interstitial cystitis and bladder pain syndrome, including Hunner lesion phenotypes, and guidelines for evaluation and treatment of male chronic pelvic pain.
