Biography​

Shawn A. Menefee directs the Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center.1 He earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee and completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.1 He completed a urogynecology fellowship at Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans.2 He has served as co-director of the UC San Diego and Kaiser Permanente fellowship and was president of the American Urogynecologic Society in 2019–2020.34
