Dorsal Circumcision Approach

The dorsal circumcision approach accesses the penile urethra by degloving the penis via a circumcising incision, providing circumferential exposure without the need for a ventral urethrotomy incision. This exposure facilitates dorsal placement of oral mucosal or skin grafts for penile urethral stricture repair. The approach is particularly useful for multiple or diffuse penile urethral strictures requiring wide-field augmentation.
