Le Fort Colpocleisis

Partial colpocleisis in which the anterior and posterior vaginal epithelium are denuded and approximated centrally, leaving lateral channels for cervical drainage in the uterus-in-situ patient. Highly effective obliterative procedure for elderly or medically fragile patients not desiring vaginal intercourse; anatomic success exceeds 90% with low perioperative morbidity.
